“I am come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
John 10:10b

In this verse of John, Jesus was teaching that He came so that we may have life
– a life filled with the Holy Spirit, if only we allow Him to enter into our hearts.

John 14:20 quotes Jesus saying “On that day you will realize that I am in my
Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.”

AND in John 15:5, Jesus said “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man
remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do

When we look up the word “abundant” in the dictionary, it is shown to mean
“richly supplied; overflowing; plentiful; abounding; oversufficient; more than
adequate”. Would you agree that these words could describe something that
would bear much fruit?

Jesus was teaching that as long as we remain in Him and allow Him to fill our
hearts, we will do awesome things, to the Father’s glory!

When we turn our lives over to the care of God, and let His will be done in our
lives, and then take our action steps to follow where He guides us, He handles
the results for us! His results are always better than we could have imagined!

Many people say that what we focus on is what we get more of – like when
people are studying the Law of Attraction. You know why this is true? Because
God is the one who places thoughts in our heads and His desires in our hearts,
and it gives Him glory to see us reflect those thoughts and desires back to Him!

When we listen to God and let him guide us to take the action steps to fulfill His
will and purpose for us, it brings Him much glory!

If you haven’t already, become familiar with the book of John in the New Testament.
It is filled with the teachings of Jesus – teaching us how to live a fruitful and abundant
life, filled with the Holy Spirit!

I Am The Vine (Song from YouTube)

John 15:5-8 (NIV) from the New Testament of the Holy Bible says:

5 “I am the vine; you are the branches.  If a man remains in me and I in him,
he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.  6 If anyone does
not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such
branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.  7 If you remain in
me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.
8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves
to be my disciples.”

As Jesus taught His disciples about Kingdom Laws, He used parables to give
great examples that would paint a picture in their/our minds, in order to
understand what we need to do, to have a successful (and everlasting) life.

Align your will with God’s will today and focus on Him.  Then focus on what
desires God has for you in your life.  Write down action steps that you can
take to accomplish those desires.  THEN TAKE THAT ACTION!

When we ask God for something, we are reflecting back the desires and wishes
that He placed on our hearts and in our minds.  He WANTS to hear that we
are “getting it”.  It is like beautiful music to God’s ears, when He hears
us ask for those things that are His desires for us.  As long as we remain
in Him, and ask, He will provide!  (It might not be provided in the time
frame we want it to be though.  God always has a perfect plan and perfect
timing.  His plan brings better results than we could imagine!)
